A profitable Washington DC-based startup is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its growing team.

The company is developing a cutting-edge platform to support political campaigns and advocacy organizations. By leveraging data-driven insights, they help campaigns operate more efficiently-enhancing voter engagement, improving digital advertising and targeting, and enabling smarter strategic decisions. Their platform includes a robust database of over20 million active donors, complete with detailed records on donation history, background information, and contact details.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer building web applications
• Proficiency in Back End development with Python and/or Typescript
• Experience building APIs in GraphQL
• Strong experience in cloud services architecture in GCP and/or AWS
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.)
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Nice to have(s): Previous experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment; 0 to 1 development; AI/ML familiarity
